CRUISE MISSILES
MBDA Apache
The Apache is an all-weather, subsonic, day and night,
stealth, standoff weapon designed to be released from military aircraft against
a wide range of targets. It enables modern fighters to carry out precision
attacks safely out of enemy air defenses reach. The French Air Force will
launched the Apache standoff missile from their Rafale and Mirage 2000
aircraft.
The Apache AP carries 10 KRISS submunitions to neutralize airfield runways and other valuable infrastructures.

Scalp EG/Storm Shadow
The Scalp EG is a long range, precision, stealth, standoff,
air-to-surface missile designed to destroy heavily defended fixed targets. It
is a fire and forget weapon which can be fired from low to medium altitudes
with a cruise missile flight profile.
The Scalp EG guidance system consists of an Inertial Measurement Unit updated through digital terrain profile matching and GPS (Global Positioning System). This redundancy provides good navigational precision and high resistance to countermeasures. In the Terminal phase an infrared imagery homing head compares the actual scene with its preprogrammed target scene and selects the impact point to hit the target with high precision.
The Scalp EG is used on Mirage 2000, Rafale, Tornado, Harrier and Typhoon (formerly Eurofighter). It is provided with a high effective penetrator warhead, called BROACH, to counter extremely hardened targets. This missile has been selected by the armed forces of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Greece and the United Arab Emirates.

Perseus
Under development
The Perseus
is a new-generation supersonic cruise missile system that will provide
multi-role strike capability. The system is currently still under development.
The new weapon, that will travel at a speed of Mach 3 (over 3,000 km/hour), would be used to attack most advanced warships as well as land targets. Perseus will be integrated on a wide range of naval and air platforms, including surface vessel, submarine, carrier-based platform or a maritime patrol aircraft, and will carry multiple military warheads.
Perseus will feature multiple operating modes against a wide land and maritime target set with the added capability of being able to overcome the most effective of enemy missile defences.
