PANHARD
Panhard VBR
The Panhard VBR (Vehicule Blinde a Roues) multipurpose
armored vehicles was developed as a private venture following the success of
the Panhard VBL armored scout car. The VBR has similar layout to the VBL, but
with increased dimensions and payload. Armor of the VBR provides protection
from small arms fire and artillery shell splinters. Add-on composite armor
provides protection against 14.5-mm armor-piercing projectiles. The Panhard VBR
has a V-shaped floor to provide increased protection against mines. Vehicle is
also fitted with anti-mine layer, as well as NBC protection and fire
suppression systems.
The Panhard VBR has a crew of two and provides accommodation for 2 to 7 troops, depending on the mission variant. Vehicle has a payload of 2 - 2.5 t.

Panhard VBL
The Panhard VBL (Vehicule Blinde Leger) armored scout car provides
protection against small arms bullets and artillery shell splinters. NBC
protection system is fitted as standard. The VBL is armed with a roof mounted
7.62-mm or 12.7-mm machine gun. Panhard has proposed over 20 models of the VBL,
fitted with various armament, including ATGW configurations. In the ATGW
configuration it has a crew of three.
Petit Véhicule Protégé (PVP)
The Petit Véhicule Protégé ("Small Protected
vehicle") is a light, general-purpose armoured 4-wheel drive vehicle used
by the French Army, made by Panhard. Selected
by the French Army, the PVP has been developed to be the future liaison and protected
security tactical vehicle. Essentially designed to carry out protected tactical
liaison missions, the PVP can fill a large panoply of roles such as escort,
patrol and command vehicles. The PVP has excellent mobility owing to a power to
weight ratio of over 34 hp per tonne.
The PVP is modular, allowing extra seats to be added for more personnel, or to be used as a light truck. The armour, made of steel and aluminium, offers level 2 protection (STANAG 4569) for the crew and the engine. The floor is protected against antipersonnel mines.

Panhard VPS
The contract for a Special Forces Patrol vehicle
was awarded to Panhard by the DGA in 2005 for the Special Operations Command.
Based on a Mercedes G chassis, the vehicle has great range and a twin electric
circuit which enables it to be used in difficult climatic conditions. In
addition, it can be rapidly deployed to theatre as it is equipped with tie-down
rings. The crew is protected against anti-personnel mines thanks to an armoured
floor fitted under the hull.
Panhard TC54
The Panhard TC54 general utility truck was
developed specifically for Saudi-Chinese artillery programme. These trucks are
designed to support field artillery units. The vehicle has a payload capacity
of 5 000 kg. It is the best payload/vehicle weight ratio in its class. The TC54
can carry more than it weights itself.
The Panhard TC54 is available in different versions, including troop carrier, supply vehicle, shelter carrier, command post vehicle.
